Saamy^2 - 😜Smiley Review 😎
Second part of a movie released in 2003, which topped the box office as well in that year, expectation was there even after a disastrous teaser, but final output is just a pot boiler😕😕😕
Chiyaan Vikram💪🏼 - Age is just a number, ditto (as in 2003) from first frame hatsoff to his dedication, sincerety n commitment towards work. We got an Indian version of Christian Bale, may be even better one🙏👏👌
Bobby Simha ✌- A bolt from blue kind of performance, looked like a comedy piece in teaser but proved to be an equal opponent for vikram in movie, but make up could have been better, salt n pepper look didn't create authenticity🤨🤨🤨
Keerthy Suresh🤫 - Usual commercial movie heroine,love at first sight n running behind hero right after first meeting, pathetic characterisation but a decent performance as no effort needed for that role😝😝😝
Aiswarya Rajesh😕 - A shocker to all Trisha fans, as she replaced trisha . Even though director sensibly made the connect for 2 movies and took initial 15 min to make audience believe that aiswarya is "trisha" , as the characterisation was weak, nothing gave a thumbs up😞😞😞
Soori 😤 - This is almost 3rd time audience bearing his poor comedy track, a huge disappointment and big let down in movie 😪😪😪
Director Hari😎 - Known for his racy screenplay n commercial packaging, now forgot completely that Elite group is also watching his movies, almost repetitive police storyline, actions defying all laws of physics, template mass-masala sequences, unwanted irritating roaring punch dialogues, everything reached to an exhaust, it might still work with B n C centre but high time to try something organic👍👍👍
Music DSP🙄 - Still can't find the reason why his telugu album is becoming block buster and tamil albums exactly opposite to that, another "fixed-tune" album, bgm was also not impressive except theme for Hero n Villian😭😭😭
A decent ensemble, good cinematography and sleek editing was the only relief in movie👏👏👏
Positives 👍: Connect between original n sequel,Interval block, Saamy 1 bgm and villian theme, Vikram's energy level
Negatives 👎 : Cat n mouse game between Hero & Villian was not exciting, template repetitive commercial format, Boring romance n irritating comedy track, average album
Overall, What all elements worked well in Saamy, turned out Square times worse in Saamy square😖😖😖
