OMG🤔 Is it a Mani Ratnam movie, pucca mass multi starrer action thriller, unique experience as the classy director chose a different path this time👏👏👏
The story plot is already revealed through teaser n trailer, a gangster is there and who will take over his position after his death, the rivalry between the brothers for throne and what happens eventually☺☺☺
Prakash Raj🙂 - As the dad, the unparalleled gangster did a brilliant job, done his part very well👍👍👍
Arvind Swamy💪🏼, the elder son as a reckless macho gave his best, nice character selection after his comeback, director gave him very good space to perform and he utilised it well👌👌👌
Arun Vijay😎 - The middle son, suited well for the smart, talented and stylish character and he is a fruit of labour, did a lot of hard work for a break and now obtained what he deserved, a decent performance🤟🤟🤟
STR😍 - The youngest one, naughty, naive but kind hearted, did justice to the role in his swag, indeed a comeback for him and satisfied his fans after a long time, simply STR is back😘😘😘
Vijay Sethupathy🙄 - Don't know what to say literally, every week one of his movies is releasing and each one would be of diff genre, but performance will be same - top notch, an underplayed tricky character here and did a good job proving that he can score even on a small screen space🙏🙏🙏
Jyotika 😍- The Eldest daughter in law, a bold character, did well as usual and her long time desire to associate with Mani Sir is also achieved✌✌✌
The other female leads Jayasudha, Aiswarya Rajesh, Diana Errapa and ensemble cast also did a great job in the given space 👏👏👏
Director Mani Ratnam😎, a new avatar, realised that its time to go for some thing different and did it well infact, execution was superb, even though story line is not unique, equal space was given for all the characters without disturbing the main content🤗🤗🤗
The bueaty of his characters is their characterisation and the presentation of same, if he projects a character as some one, the audience will believe it and have an emotional connect with them, but here too many characters, their back stories, presentation is good, but the connect for audience is missing, first half was racy, character intros, plot opening, pacy action sequences but in second half, the screen play became slow and predictable. Climax twist was good but not sure whether it will work same for all classes🤔🤔🤔
Music ARR😇, even though ARR is composing every time for Mani Sir, each time music and songs are fresh, giving his best always for Mani Ratnam movies, BGM n theme was already huge hit, Songs were just overlapping the scenes which otherwise would have affected the pace of movie😜😜😜
Cinematography Santosh Sivan🤓 - Except a few patchy aerial shots and green mat scenes, rest everything was next level, the flamboyance, color, angles, no words to describe, a 200% output for the given budget🤩🤩🤩
The special magic effect of this trio worked well in theatre, apart from that, Action choreography was amazing, editing and other tech dept also did a great job enhancing the visual experience👏👏👏
Positives 👍: Performance of Cast, Music, Cinematography, Dialogues, Climax twist
Negatives 👎: Slow n a bit predictable second half
Overall, an engaging thriller for all the fans(family too) with good high points and a non disappointing one time watch flick☺☺☺
