One of the most awaited movie of the season, a Dhanush-Vetrimaran combo, which won National award last time, FL, teaser everything went viral and took hype to next level and movie is a perfect reply to the prolonged wait🤩🤩🤩
Dhanush😍 - #D has got in to a good shape now, whatever he do, romance, mass, sentiments, its well n good. Another amazing character in his career n he almost lived as the character itself, a journey from teenage to adult, 3-4 makeovers and he was so damn perfect at every stage, if he can do something to change his lean physique too, he would be unstoppable💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Andrea jermiah🤫 - a meaty role and executed brilliantly, appreciate the courage to take a different character like this, a lot of emotional sequences and her performance was good enough to make audience empathize with her👏👏👏
Ameer😎 - A character which was initially said to be played by Vijay sethupathi, a powerful & important character, whoever does that role, it should be believable because the entire story revolves around this character and he himself being an amazing director in this genre, this was just a cakewalk for him👍👍👍
Samuthirakani🙏 - Another pivotal character in the movie, extra ordinary performance, he was a perfect choice for the character and delivered neatly what director needed from that character👌👌👌
Kishore🤨 - one of Vetrimaran's fav, given another career best role and he utilised it perfectly, did justice to his portion🤘🤘🤘
Daniel balaji 🤓- another fav guy of Vetrimaran , the bueaty of this character is at each slum, we can find this character and he was exactly like what we see in real life✌✌✌
Aiswarya Rajesh😂 - never seen such a character sketch for heroine, a golden period for her, back to back challenging characters and movies turning out blockbusters, a memorable character for her, romance portions were fresh, also as a raw, bigmouth native girl, an impeccable performance💖💖💖
Radharavi, Dhanush's brother in law, other two friends of Ameer, Police officers and every single one of the ensemble cast, no words to describe - they all look like people who had lived half of their life at vada chennai, such a natural acting and a big positive to the movie 👏👏👏
Director Vetrimaran🤩 - Took a very long gap after his previous work and the movie explains why it was taken, magnificent idea to take this in 3 parts bcz this is not a story its an epic,
A normal gangster story, a bunch of people will be living in one area, a political party needs to move that people, a leader raises from the crowd opposing it, party will kill him with the help of his own people....
But the bueaty of this movie is, how it is connected to the hero, how it becomes his need for revenge, how fate puts him to the situation he shouldn't be - absolutely astounding, an engrossing screen play, racy script with so much of detailing in every frame considering the fact that it's a periodic film, Not only hero, each character stands out and have their space in story, every one got multiple makeovers and not even once it went artificial, all the nuances was taken care of and a clinical execution from team🤝🤝🤝
Music SaNa😍 - 25th movie, something special should be there and yes he got a big one to unleash his talent, director came n told vada chennai is the title, a gangster story happening in that backdrop, if u check the album the songs will not look like it is made for film, it is something what we hear in real life, if we go around North madras n al, from the lyrics to music to songs, what story demanded it is there 200%.
Vada Chennai theme already garnered rave, bgm was mesmerising, another feather in his cap🤟🤟🤟
The movie is told in a non linear format, a period one and got everything in the bag to make it complicated but even though Cinematography, Editing, Art, Costumes, Choreography, VFX, Stunts and other dept was enchanting giving a quality product enhancing visual experience 🤩🤩🤩
Positives 👍 : Everything in the movie
Negatives 👎 : #D character towards the end suddenly becomes a massy professional fighter, a proper justification could have been told
Overall, an 'A' certified movie, not recommended for family as lot of violence, foul language🤬 is there, but for serious movie lovers, those who wish to watch a perfect movie analysing it layer by layer, this is for you guys🤗🤗🤗
