2.0 - 😜Smiley Review 😎

We don't have much of "Super heros" in India😜, as our "Heros" themselves turns out to be a super hero😝 when it comes to action, thanks to the creativity of directors, well jokes apart Krish, Ra-one, Robot are some movies that found its way to the hearts in this genre, its the production cost as well as the quality of audience which restricts the Indian industry to attempt sci-fi, superhero genre and definitely not lack of creativity, give a punch on face when some one's says Indian movies can't reach Hollywood level😤😤😤

2.0 is a different ball game, the producer "Lyca Productions" magnanimously granted a 475cr (production cost alone), the team is given full freedom to visualize their dream & that's how India's most expensive movie, first movie to be shot completely on native 3D is born, hatsoff to each one of them who made it possible👏👏👏

Rajnikanth😎, facing a lot of criticism after the political entry, movies also not going well, health conditions also not favourable, been through his difficult times needed a sure shot hit to regain whatever he had lost, joined hands with the best in business to achieve it😉😉😉

Playing 3 different shades, Superstar did a decent job overall even though Vaseegaran character didn't had the glow in his face n sound as before, of course age is a factor, but the 2.0 and 3.0 version characters an absolute blinder, treat to his fans, the mannerisms, the dialogue delivery whatever the fans need from their Thalaivar delivered in full swing👌👌👌

Akshay Kumar🦅, a different kind of role with a never seen before makeover, did a brilliant job especially in the flashback portion, the character sketch is a bit tricky but well written, even though he is Villian, his cause is good and what turns him evil, there lies the bueaty🤩🤩🤩

Amy Jackson🤔, good decision to show her as humanoid, so that she needs to emote that much only, which itself is a herculean task for her😝, did her job decently bringing laughter with her  Kamal, Vijay, Vadivelu one liners😅, but some scenes like hiding behind the wall, flirting with chitti could have been avoided as it narrows the fact that she is a robot (with emotions, but everything has a limit 😂) over all a neat performance👍👍👍

Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussian, Kalabavan Shajon, Mayil Samy & all other ensemble cast did a great job as in every Shankar movie✌✌✌

Shankar🙏, known for his grandeur, unleashed his vision beyond ever barrier in this movie, he never stopped chasing the rainbows even at vicious cycle, a big salute  to his determination, dedication and hard work but the problem is when u take a movie on this scale with an actor like Rajnikanth, not only u should make an international appeal but at same time, u need to satisfy the front row audience too, it's easier said than done, that factor turned as an achillies heel, many a places especially at climax, movie compromised International standard for Rajni mania, playing to the gallery won't works out every time but again that depends on what kind of audience watches it, different take aways for different kind of audience☺☺☺

Story, screen play hungs at mid air creating a feeling "could have been better", the flashback portion was good n fresh but the conflict, revenge was a bit clichéd and felt less organic, infact team also believed with the visuals they can nullify the flaws

Native 3D,VFX, 4D sound the movie brings in all the state of the art cutting edge technologies and it pays off, a great experience overall, must watch at theatres🤟🤟🤟

Dialogues Jeyamohan & Shankar😘, soul touching dialogues not placed for applause alone, kind of eye opener to society also, on the other hand, one line jokes, punch dialogues everything worked out well and the shankar sir style of delivering social message in an entertaining manner is successful once again🤩🤩🤩

Music ARR😌, luckily movie had no songs, so background score was the only concern, did a good job complementing n elevating the visuals, the reprise of Endhiran bgm did create the magic😇😇😇

Resul Pookutty🤗, the sound design n mixing  was next level , when mobile vibrates on screen u can actually feel it, the movement of robots, mobile phones everything is crystal clear, 4D sound design really added value to the movie🤓🤓🤓

Camera Nirav Shah🧐, after "My dear Kuttichathan", "Magic Magic" a proper 3D movie in India, the depth is felt at each frame, 3D effect  is also nice, the angles, lighting everything was just perfect, with more than 2500 VFX shots & the fact that entire result of movie depends on the visuals along with the pressure hype had brought, I would say Cinematography had the final laugh, impeccable visuals😍😍😍

Editing Anthony🤠, most difficult job as he have to completely forget the rules of 2D n then think about the shot division and cuts because for each transition it has to match with previous scene depth otherwise it will look awkward, did his best especially climax stadium fight scene, one hell of a shot and it really made audience berserk. Some scenes ended abruptly but Kudos to the effort for completing in in time, because you can't work more than 3 hrs continuously as it will cause irritation to eyes🤘🤘🤘

Art direction Muthuraj🤓, contrary to 2D, every single point in the frame is highlighted in 3D, so backgrounds, sets everything should look authentic, the quality of work was superlative and never felt plastic anywhere🙂🙂🙂

VFX Legacy Effects, Choreography, Action Supervisor, Make up, Costumes, Dubbing & all other dept both technical n Non technical did their best making d movie a memorable experience😎😎😎

Positives 👍: 3D effect, 4D sound, VFX, Dialogues,one line jokes, performance of Rajni as 2.0 & Akshay Kumar, social message

Negatives 👎: Not a gripping story, Motive of villian, lot of jargons, crucial 3.0 minibot Rajni may not work for all, International standard is compromised, less high points compared to Endhiran

The team tried their level best to bring down the concept(Aura), impact of radiations on birds and how in turn it affects human beings, fifth force to a layman level upholding the commercial elements, the movie failed to make a thumping effect, will entertain but never engorss😔😔😔

Whatsoever, logic mistakes are not considered here, eventhough it's a Robot, it's Superstar Thalaivar Rajnikanth in flesh for his fans, and for him everything is possible😛😛😛

In a nut shell, a one time watch average movie with astounding 3D n VFX, go with family and enjoy the experience at theatres, the kids will enjoy it for sure🤩🤩🤩
