First of all, hatsoff to Ram & team 👏 for portraying such a unique soul stirring content in an unprecedented manner and Mammoka 🙏 for accepting this simple role without any flamboyance which is usually seen in his recent movies👏👏👏
Megastar Mammoty😎, he told at audio launch " I didn't act, I just thought how I would react if I had a spastic daughter" and that's what exactly he had done, all the expressions were organic, fresh n appealing😘😘😘 , smitten by the love for his daughter he just stays at our heart even after the movie. The costumes, make up everything was just perfect for the character👌, bedazzled by the dialogue delivery & performance at the emotional sequences🤩, no words "Amudhavan", another cult character from ikka😍😍😍
Sadhana🙄 as Mammoka's daughter, mind blowing impeccable performance. Full credits to director🙏 for extracting a great performance from her, throughout the movie she carried the same meter for a spastically challenged girl, no where felt exaggerated. The pristine father-daughter relationship is worked out well in the combination scenes, literally the soul of the movie👌👌👌
Anjali 😌 - looks adorable, a small role, did justice to her portion, the character is sketched so well, even though small screen space the impact stays strong😜😜😜
Anjali Ameer 😍- A bueatifully written character & a satisfying performance from her, an eye opener to the society. Many a moment, you will emphatize with her, definitely a proud moment for the transgender community😇, Kudos to the team👍👍👍
Samudhirakani, Livingston, Anjali's husband character, Doctor and all other supporting cast did an amazing job complementing the movie👏👏👏
Director Ram🤗 - No need to highlight, he had set a standard for his movies and Peranbu💓 is nothing short of a masterpiece. A strong tabooed but relevant content taken and presented it beautifully, the way he handled the sex feelings of teenagers, transgenders' love, father - daughter relationship, the hardships of parents, hard realities of life, simply superlative🙏🙏🙏
The story and script is so strong, grippy n engrossing for a movie in this genre, scene by scene he experimented new things and the overall presentation was unique, projected from a different angle. Dialogues were so strong, its depth n impact will not leave you easily🤐🤐🤐
Music Yuvan Shankar Raja🤪 - Songs were OK, but the RR was fantastic, Emotions are elevated and highlighted with the music at the same time, it's so soothing and a breather at soul stirring sequences😘😘😘
DOP Theni Eswar😎 - Back bone of the movie, the frames were magical, the scenic bueaty of kodaikanal is captured beautifully and tone of the movie itself was so natural, the lightings, shot division, continuous shots everything just suiting the flavour of the movie🤟🤟🤟
Editing, Costumes, Art direction, VFX, DI and every other dept did a great job creating a good quality visual product🤝🤝🤝
The bueaty of the movie is, story is not made intentionally to make you cry or emphatize , they just placed the camera over a family, a society and captured the raw moments of truth and its hardest reality, it's you who finally draws up the line, because at the end of the day, you are also one among that society. Spoon feeding everything is one way of story telling, making u feel and understand it is another and amazingly the movie does the later❤️❤️❤️
