Saaho Review (Spoiler free)

Saaho - 😜Smiley Review 😎

After the mammoth success of #Bahubali❤ all over the world, it was  a prestigious project for the makers to establish that pan India🇮🇳 image to #Prabhas and deliver a block buster but unfortunately they could cross only half way in the mission🤗🤗🤗

Prabhas💪🏼 - Looking handsome and rakish, terrific in action sequences👌but that fire or passion in the eyes was missing😬 may be that's his usual swag, but for a non - telugu audience who had seen him only as Baahubali could have felt he was born for this character and why he is not getting that involvement and commitment here, the major problem is his character arc for Saaho is weak compared to Bahubali😒😒😒

Shraddha kapoor💘 - She did her best in both romantic as well as action portions, did complete justice to her role👌👌👌

Murli Sharma😂 - As a sidekick to Prabhas, did his job well, witty one liners, his freaky expressions, build up dialogues for the hero, everything was fine😉😉😉

Neil Nithin Mukesh🤨 - One of the interesting characters in the movie, within the limited expressions he have tried to give decent output☺☺☺

Arun Vijay😕 - A very good actor with great potential but not a challenging role for him, in the limited space given, he didn't failed to  impress😎😎😎

Jacky Shroff, Lal, Mandira Bedi, Vennela Kishore and other huge established ensemble reminds us the proverb too much of cooks spoil the broth🤨🤨🤨
Since the characterisation is poor, there is not a single character who stays in your heart once u step out of the theatre🤐🤐🤐

Director Sujeeth🤝 - First of all, he should be appreciated for showing up the courage to make a movie in this humongous scale on his second film itself, an average gangster story line with good twists and stand alone action sequences🤘🤘🤘

But all the theatre erruption moments are subdued by the lagging screen play, too much of unnecessary scenes, lengthy dialogues and boring songs, director lacked experience in figuring out the right mix for all centre audience, he put his best effort in making the action sequences and the results are superlative but rest of the portions were just template which killed the overall mood of the film😞😞😞

Another major issue is VFX, for the given budget vfx is blatantly tacky and used superficially, apart from the logical loopholes, the interval twist was too good compared to final reveal as it is almost predictable🙁🙁🙁

A good attempt, if he could have cut down the  budget or around 30 min of the movie, it would have been more gripping and enthralling🤩🤩🤩

Music Ghibran😍 - Saaho theme was one hell of a music, Bgm and RR was apt for the mood🥰, songs are okayish but their placement made it a horrible watch😤😤😤

Cinematography Madhie🥳 - The grandeur of the movie is visible in each frame, a state of the art work, lightings, color tone and frames, everything was fantastic but some green mat scenes were patchy as the VFX blend was not up to the mark☺☺☺

Editing, Costumes, Choreography, Action, and all other technical and non technical dept did a fair job👏👏👏

The concept of building a city of gangsters named Waaji, flying squad, black box is good but didn't give a fresh appeal as most of these stuffs are already seen a 1000 times in Hollywood movies.

In Bahubali, the team succeeded in bringing the audience to their Magizhmati kingdom and fighting against Khalakeyas, the authenticity was intact and most importantly the sentiments worked out well and audience had a strong emotional connect with the characters, but in Saaho everything is artificial and flat.

Movie may rake in but won't be a celebrated one😐😐😐

Positives 👍: Action sequences, Interval twist, Climax, Cinematography, Theme music n bgm

Negatives 👎: Artificiality, solid lag in screen play, unnecessary build up scenes, poor song placement

Overall, a one time watch good action thriller😌😌😌

General Audience : 3.75/5
Darling fans : 4.5/5
Critics : 2.5/5
Family Audience : 3/5

BO Verdict : Hit

😜#KS 😎

PS: The movie was slated to be shot as a bi lingual infact tri lingual, but they just shot in Telugu and dubbed in all other languages, it's clearly visible in the lip sync and the dubbing made matters worse🤬🤬🤬
